Compact MicoStep Motor Driver

The ACE-SDX is a compact (3” x 2.75” x 1”) bipolar stepper motor driver with unique configuration capabilities

Our features provide you with a convenient and flexible driver solution for NEMA 8, 11, 17 and 23 hybrid stepper motors.

Expanded Settings

Micro-stepping: Set the micro-stepping of the ACE-SDX to any value from 2-500, which equates to 499 different micro-step settings. This allows you to achieve non-standard step resolutions, which is useful when matching your stepper motor to a lead screw or encoder. Typical mismatch errors can be eliminated using this feature.

Current: Set both the run and idle currents as high as 3.0 A in 100 mA increments, which equates to 30 different current configurations.

Idle Time: Set the amount of time the ACE-SDX holds the run current after the motor stops in order to reduce motor heating. This allows you to adjust the holding torque dynamics of your system. There are 100 different settings - from 10 msec to 10 sec.

Direction: Set the CW/CCW direction polarity of the ACE-SDX

Pulse Mode: Set the ACE-SDX to run in either 1-Clock (PUL/DIR) or 2-Clock (CW/CCW) modes. This allows for interfacing to any stepper controller, independent of the pulse output style.
