Nordeon USA Debuts CALVIA LED Pendant and Surface Mount Luminaires

New Product Introduction: CALVIA – ultra-thin, frosted glass panel transmits light to deliver low brightness illumination from ceiling, wall, or pendant mount models in two sizes.

Product Applications: CALVIA provides visually comfortable LED illumination well suited for a broad range of architectural and decorative commercial, retail, and institutional interior applications. These include executive offices, building corridors, meeting and dining rooms, reception areas, retail settings, and upscale hospitality venues.

Product Description: CALVIA emits diffused illumination from an extremely thin frosted tempered glass panel punctuated by a stainless steel square module in the center to create a visual focal point. The glass panel, illuminated by concealed edge-lit LED sources, generates a semi-direct downward distribution for general lighting. Surface mounted models produce a corona-like effect behind the luminaire to accent ceiling or wall surfaces as an architectural styling element. An absence of visible hardware provides an understated elegance well suited for many upscale office, retail, or hospitality applications.

CALVIA is available in 16” or 24” sizes with a choice of warm or neutral color temperatures with CRI greater than 80. The luminaire is available as a surface mount luminaire for walls or ceilings, or pendant mount suspended by stainless steel aircraft cable. 0-10v dimming is available on request.

Construction & Finishes: CALVIA delivers 2300 lumens at 34 watts for the 16” model, and 3600 lumens at 55 watts for the 24” model, respectively. Luminous efficacy is 68 lumens per watt. Color temperatures may be warm or neutral at 3000K or 4000K, respectively. Color rendering index is greater than 80CRI, with a lamp life of 50,000 hours. Light distribution is semi-direct with 70% downlight and 30% uplight.

Both models have a shallow profile of less than 2-inches deep. Pendant luminaire is suspended from stainless steel aircraft cable. Universal LED driver allows input voltage range from 120 volts through 277 volts at 50 or 60 Hertz. Options include 0-10vc dimming on request. CALVIA is CSA/US Certified for Damp Location with a protection rating of IP40.
