At Photonics West 2014, Spectra-Physics unveiled a new family of UV and green diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) Q-switched lasers.

Spectra-Physics promise increased precision and reduced costs with the Talon, most especially for long duration manufacturing processes. They have a lot of experience in producing lasers destined for 24/7 applications and the reliability of their lasers is second-to-none.

The Talon, based on Spectra-Physics’s patented “It’s in the BoxTM” design is available in several versions moving from 6W to 20W depending on the job at hand.

The Talon’s innovative design, reliability and low-usage costs ensure a long-life laser fit for the most demanding applications.
