GOOGLE SMARTPHONE TO ACT AS BRAIN OF NASA ROBOTS

Google Smartphones Will Control Miniature Nasa Satellites

Nasa have linked up with Google to power its Synchronized Position Hold, Engage, Reorient, Experimental Satellites (or Spheres for short). A Google smartphone will act as the brain of the bowling ball sized robots. The multipurpose robots navigate in zero gravity using small CO2 powered jets. They will assist astronauts on basic tasks and it is hoped they will one day carry out a variety of tasks and free up astronauts for more demanding work.
