Photoelectric Sensors With IO-Link are M2M/IoT Ready

Ready for IoT apps, the C23 Series photoelectric sensors includes diffuse, reflex, through-beam and background suppression types

They are said to reliably detect objects of different colors and material types, even under difficult conditions. All PNP switching versions of this sensor series are equipped with IO-Link, preparing them for M2M communication within the context of the IoT. The sensors measure 20 mm x 30 mm x 10 mm and, via the IO-Link interface on PNP types, are capable of remote communication with the master control level. IO-Link sensors are compatible with all IO-Link master versions. IO-Link functions include data monitoring and diagnosis of sensor functions, sensitivity adjustment and teach-in, choice of switching type and configuration of switching behavior, setting of sensor mode and, for through-beam types, selection of emitting sequences, and detection counter and temperature measurement.
