SERCO TU: Portable facing & boring units for valves and flanges

The Serco TU machines all work on the same principle. They are set up and clamped by a columns/arm system, which is connected to the machining area. The optional chain clamping system FC, secures the TU machine to allow complete machining of sealing faces and studs.

The TU machine setup is fast and easy. A parallel orientation toward the machining surface is aligned by adjusting the height of the columns. A second step, completely independent of the first, adjusts the concentricity with positioning screws. A dial gauge controls both adjustments to an accuracy of 1/100 mm.

The surface finish reaches up to Ra 1.6 (depending on the material to be machined).

Conical machining operations can be performed with the optional AC38 or the RTJ device where the radial and axial velocities are interconnected.

Optional grinding units UR40/UR45 are also available to ensure a perfect surface finish.

Precision

With a precision of 1/100 mm and a surface finish up to Ra 1.6 the Serco TU machine assures high quality and maximum precision to all your surfacing and boring operations.

Fast Setup

The machine is designed to be set up quickly and easily even in the most severe working conditions. Since the column height and the concentricity adjustment are independent of each other, it takes only two steps to accurately set up and adjust the machine for it to be ready to operate.

Light and Compact

The SERCO TU is easily set up in even the tightest spaces, and in all positions. Its light weight, compact dimensions and ergonomic design allow for easy installation and use by a single operator.
