AST 250kg and Cancer Research

Load Cells and Cancer Research Findings

A study was approved by The University of Western Sydney Human Research Ethics to determine whether resistance training improves fatigue and quality of life in previously inactive breast cancer survivors.

Upper body strength was measured by the force output during a unilateral isometric chest press. The force was measured using our AST 250kg Load Cell.

The study found that 16 weeks of high-intensity RF significantly improved upper and lower body strength and reduced perceived fatigue.
