Salicru''s systems to speed up the Cairo to Alexandria rail corridor

Thanks to the confidence again placed in us by the company Thales España, which was recently awarded a major signalling, telecommunications and traffic control contract by the Egyptian government, Salicru has supplied 21 SLC CUBE3+ UPS parallel systems of between 20 and 80 kVA.

Their main purpose is to protect the rail track''s signalling and points systems in order to enable the speed of the rail corridor''s so-called “turbotrains” to be increased.

The SLC CUBE3+ UPSs supplied stand out for their high design specifications and great adaptability, and for providing a reliable high-quality power supply that can achieve significant energy and cost savings.

This new project joins other rail sector projects in Salicru''s portfolio, including various sections of Spain''s high-speed line (Madrid-Lleida-Barcelona, La Sacra-Toledo, Cordoba-Malaga and Segovia-Valladolid) and Madrid and Bilbao''s metro systems.

Salicru safeguards the Oxigen data centre with lithium-ion batteries
