Peru is located in western South America, covering an area of 1285216㎞². It is bordered in the west by the Pacific Ocean, in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil and in the south by Chile. The Hierro iron mine is located in Marcona area, south of Peru’s capital Lima. With an area of 670㎞², the annual output of the mineral is nearly 6 million ton, which is renowned as one of the largest iron mines in South America.

SANY big diggers were responsible for the ore crushing task. The ore’s iron content is nearly 60% with quartz crystal so the hardness of the ore is extremely high. Besides, the average working hour of SANY’s big diggers SY365C was 10 hours every day. But SANY big diggers always remained stable operation which won the recognition of the local customers.

The operating weight of SANY SY365C big digger is 35200kg. The engine power is 205/1900 kW/rpm with the bucket capacity of 1.6 m³. The big diggers can be widely used in infrastructure construction, rock or hard soil layer digging and stratifying the soil, etc. This big digger boasts faster digging speed and lower energy loss. In order to improve the digging force, a quick circuit is added to the arm oil cylinder circuit. The arm speed is increased because the hydraulic oil in arm cylinder rod end does not return the tank but goes directly to the cylinder head end.
