After SCHURTER AG successfully passed the certification according to the new Automotive Standard IATF 16949:2016 in August 2017, the maintenance audit was carried out after the first year. The IATF (International Automotive Task Force) places the highest demands on the system and process quality of a company.

The maintenance audit, which takes place every three years, distinguishes the company in the effort to continuously improve the quality level. The automotive standard IATF 16949:2016 places the highest demands here.

SCHURTER places this standard in the focus of its actions as a strategic orientation for corporate development. SCHURTER wants to continuously improve in order to be able to meet the constantly growing demands of its customers today and in the future to their complete satisfaction.

The agreed suggestions for improvement from last year's first audit were consistently implemented and reviewed. During the recertification audit, new focal points for action were identified and scheduled for implementation.

Management is consistently involved in further improving the implementation of interdisciplinary and process-oriented measures within the agreed period. This further increases the reliability of the processes, maintains product quality at the highest level and - most importantly - continuously improves cooperation with all partners. The objective of "zero errors" accordingly requires a continuous optimization process.

SCHURTER's orientation towards IATF 16949 is not only important for automotive customers. It also serves all SCHURTER customers who benefit from the improved processes.
