UPS battery in IDC data center

Application Cases of Shoto UPS battery in IDC data center

In the Internet+ era, the data center plugs the high speed development wings for the large data and cloud storage. After experiencing the cabinet level, modularity level, room level and infrastructure level development, the data center industry is developing towards the IT level modularity direction. The current optimization of energy in data center, optimization of sever liquid cooling and process, and the safety optimization have all become the key points needing to be considered in the current cloud data center construction.

Majuqiao Data Center is the second largest data center project independently planned, designed and constructed by Unicloud Technology. It is situated at the outer edge of the South Sixth Ring of Beijing, bordering Yizhuang Subway Line, South Sixth Ring and Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway. The data center includes two buildings, i.e. complex building and computer room building, with the overall floorage of 15,000m2. Its construction starts from July 2014.

The area of the first-stage computer room is 8600m2, delivered and used in March 2015. The extensible area in the second stage is 8000m2, including 15 modularity computer rooms, managing 2856 racks and serving over 45000 servers. The first-stage project is delivered, used and tested in March 2015, and its overall design conforms to the T3+ standard. It is connected by twin channel 10kV electric supply, and the average power supply capacity of single cabinet can reach 20A. The completion of Majuqiao data center can greatly release the IDC demand gap in Beijing and the surrounding area.

Shoto offers safe and reliable high-power UPS battery for the Majuqiao data center project of ZTE Corporation, and also delivers and uses the storage battery testing mechanism.
