At FIREX International, the Siemens Building Technologies Division will showcase its fire safety and extinguishing products and solutions for areas with special requirements. Among the many highlights are the new Cerberus Fit fire control panel and the EX detectors for industrial applications. FIREX International, the leading trade fair for fire protection, will be held in London June 17 – 19, 2014.

The trade fair motto of Siemens Building Technologies, "Being safe – Wherever – Whenever", reflects its market focus on data centers, university campuses, schools, historical buildings, hotels, and industrial applications. Siemens has specialized solutions for each of these areas, including the new Cerberus Fit fire control panel, which can be commissioned quickly and easily and is especially suitable for smaller areas of application. For the first time at a trade fair, Siemens will be presenting its EX-type fire detectors optimized for industrial applications. The new Cerberus DMS danger management station and the Swing wireless fire detection system round out the comprehensive Siemens portfolio of special fire safety applications.

Siemens will also show its optimized solutions for data centers and server rooms. These include the Sinorix Silent Nozzle, especially developed for low-noise gas extinguishing in data centers, and the new highly integrated aspirating smoke detectors (ASD), which offer extremely reliable alarming thanks to advanced dual-wavelength technology. Siemens will also be exhibiting Sinorix Compact, a compact end-to-end solution for small- and medium-sized server rooms with all the required components for fire detection, alarming and extinguishing in one housing the size of a server rack.

Many of the products, including the Cerberus Pro detectors and the Cerberus DMS, will be available for demonstration and testing right at the booth. In addition, Siemens will also have a Consultant Corner offering a wide range of information on planning and services for the entire product lifecycle.
