Standex-Meder Electronics announces Micro-Power Hall Effect Sensors

Solid state reliability with low power consumption in environmentally isolated package

Standex-Meder Electronics, a manufacturer of precise, reliable, and long-lasting miniature switches, sensors and relays, announces a new range of micro-power Hall Effect sensors, which offer solid state reliability, low power consumption, and consistent activation points over a wide temperature range in a rugged and environmentally isolated package.

These new micro-power versions operate on 3V battery supplies requiring an average supply current of only 5 micro amps (μA), which compares to an industry average of 5 milliamps (mA). Several models are available, ranging in size from the MH04 (with a width of 24 millimeters), the MH21 (28.6 mm) and the MH11/M12 (38 mm). In addition, Standex-Meder specializes in customizing designs to specific customer needs. The new range of Hall Effect sensors are available with a variety of custom options, including various outputs (switch, latch, analog, angular), high temperature options, as well as custom package designs.
