30 years of Syslogic: Prepared for extreme situations

Embedded Specialist Celebrates Anniversary

Syslogic has offered embedded computers and HMI systems for industry for thirty years. But not only are devices from Syslogic suitable for extreme situations: the company itself has also repeatedly proven itself in the last thirty years.

-40 degrees Celsius, shocks, vibrations and dampness – the equipment from Syslogic is designed for extreme situations. For 30 years, the company with branches in Germany and Switzerland has been developing and producing ultra-robust embedded computers and HMI systems, which are prepared for almost any situation.

But it is not only the products from Syslogic that defy external influences. The company itself has also repeatedly faced new challenges and mastered these successfully. Christian Binder, CEO and co-founder of Syslogic, says: “On the 30th anniversary of the company, we can justifiably say that we as a company are prepared for extreme situations.” The company has therefore proven in recent years that it is still possible to produce electronics economically in Europe.

Having stayed true to one’s own values

From the start, Syslogic has developed and manufactured uncompromising industrial electronics. Syslogic is one of the few European embedded companies that offers everything from one source. All work, from development and design through to manufacturing, is done by Syslogic in-house in Germany and in Switzerland. Thanks to its high degree of automation, streamlined production processes and thanks to the rigid quality management, Syslogic can provide European quality at a good price-performance ratio.

Christian Binder adds: “While our area of activities is steadily expanding and the industry market is becoming more multi-layered, one thing is the same: our enthusiasm for embedded technology.” It is exactly this enthusiasm that is the engine that drives Syslogic and continues to inspire us to new ideas, says Binder.

Build-to-order from small piece quantities and mobile automation

In recent years, in addition to the established markets, such as industrial automation or mechanical engineering, Syslogic has in particular also served the sector of mobile automation. The company thus supplies various major customers from the railway industry as well as manufacturers of agricultural and construction machines.

Another important main pillar of Syslogic is made by the build-to-order devices, which are realized even from small piece quantities. The embedded computers and HMI systems from Syslogic can be compiled in modules. Accordingly, customers for whom a standard product is insufficient will find a reliable partner with Syslogic.

Despite the difficult conditions in recent years, Syslogic was able to keep up its course of growth. The company thus opened up a new production plant in Sachsen two years ago in order to handle the rising demand for real industrial electronics. Christian Binder says: “Our sustained good order situation makes me feel positive that we will continue to realize an annual growth of five to ten percent in the next five years as well.”
