Performance counts: Syslogic launches a new industrial PC line with Core-i processor

Syslogic is expanding its product portfolio. The newly launched Commercial Line offers industrial PCs, which are considerably more powerful than the previous embedded systems. The first representative of the Commercial Line is the industrial PC Compact C6, which is equipped with U-series processors from the sixth generation of the Intel Core i-line (Skylake-U).


Uncompromising industrial PCs are entering into a new performance class

The Core-i processors strike the perfect balance between computing power and low power consumption. This makes them the ideal basis for the new Compact C6 industrial PC. This industrial PC is passively cooled and meets industrial virtues, such as durability and robustness, but also advances into a new performance class. It is therefore suitable for applications in the fields of robotics, control systems, industrial automation or process visualization. The industrial PC supports the video coding MPEG-2, WMV9 and H.264.

Scalable Industrial PC with i3, i5 or i7 Processor

Like the previous embedded systems from Syslogic, the powerful industrial PC Compact C6 can also be customized. Depending on the computing power requirements, Syslogic customers choose between a Core-i3, Core-i5 or Core-i7 processor. The latter offers a CPU clock rate of 2.6 GHz. In addition to the processor, the interfaces can also be configured according to the customer requirements. An add-on board allows for uncomplicated and inexpensive adjustments starting from small quantities. In addition, Syslogic can also print a customer logo on the industrial PC or realize customer-specific packaging if requested.

A Thoroughbred Industrial PC – Reliable and Maintenance-Free

Like all Syslogic equipment, the industrial PCs of the Commercial Line meet the high requirements for durability, robustness and reliability. Syslogic is one of the few European companies in the embedded sector that produces independently. Accordingly, Syslogic has a firm grip on the quality. Already during the component selection, the in-house developers ensure that only qualified industrial components are used. Furthermore, all industrial PCs are subject to a strict qualification procedure, which means that unplanned field failures are successfully avoided. The electronics of the industrial PC are also protected against external influences by the robust housing made of stainless steel and aluminium.

Industrial PC with Flexible System Connection

By default, the industrial PC has two display ports, four USB 3.0 interfaces, two Gigabit Ethernet and two RS232 interfaces as well as audio interfaces. Regarding the memory page, the industrial PC is equipped with an M.2-SSD as well as with a microSD slot. 2.5-inch solid-state drives can also be connected by using the two SATA-3 slots.

The Commercial Line will be supplemented with other products soon. Raphael Binder is confident that Syslogic can expand its market position with the Commercial Line.
