Flexibility for precise data monitoring

The T&D RTR-500 wireless base station enables users to monitor and download data without the need to physically retrieve data loggers. In addition, warning notifications can be sent from remote locations via email when parameters deviate from the norm.

By registering the RTR-500 as a base unit, recorded data and current readings can be downloaded from remote units and sent by e-mail or FTP to a designated address. A simple USB connection turns the RTR-500 into the perfect base unit for on-site use. The device can also function as a repeater for other RTR-500 Series base stations to expand the wireless communication range in increments of about 150 metres per unit. This range can be extended with the use of multiple repeaters. Combined with remote units from the RTR-500 data logger family, a wide range of parameters can be monitored, including temperature, humidity, voltage, mA (4-20mA), Pulse, CO2, UV and illuminance. The collected data can be viewed immediately on a local PC in graph form. In addition, users can take advantage of the free of charge T&D WebStorage Service, a central server where up to 20 MB of data can be stored. This guarantees easy access to data at any time from any place and also means that data can be shared safely, if desired.
