Automated wooden punnet unstacker
These punnets are dangerous to handle manually and they cause numerous injuries (splinters, scratches, cuts…). And they are difficult to unstack quickly.
French company TECAUMA, supplier of automated handling equipment, developed a solution to those problems : a machine to unstack automatically wooden punnets.
The operator inserts directly the piles of empty punnets on the input conveyor, then the machine unstacks them and dispatches them one by one on an output conveyor towards the filling station. The machine manages automatically pile changes and has a rate of about 5 seconds / punnet.
