How is this possible? With Tsubaki''s patented dual roller system. A large roller of urethane or other soft material is fitted with a smaller roller inside it. Friction between the two makes them rotate together, and the difference between the two diameters causes the speed of the conveyed materials to be 2.5 times the speed of the chain. Furthermore, there is slip between the large and small rollers, which allows for free flow conveying.

Double Plus Chain is both safe and stable for conveyed items. In particular, our Snap Covers prevent bolts, screws, and other small materials from falling or becoming wedged between the rollers. We also offer Lambda Double Plus Chain with oil impregnated sintered bushings for long life without the hassle and worry of lubricating. Lambda Chain provides five times the normal wear life of standard Double Plus Chain, with a 20% reduction in accumulation line pressure. Best of all, external measurements are identical to the standard model, the frame and sprocket remain the same, and it is possible to replace just the chain.
