Meet A. u. K. Müller at the COMPAMED 2015

A. u. K. Müller has supplied high performance valve solutions for the handling of fluids in the medical technology market for many years. Our products are well established in the areas of dialysis, sterilization and disinfection as well as medical instruments and laboratory technology. The standard range of media separated valves includes direct-acting valves with diaphragm or bellows, pinch valves and lever valves. We also make drain valves for aggressive media, temperature stable valves suitable for use with steam and valves with approvals for the connection of medical devices to the potable water network. Additionally, bespoke customer specific valve solutions can also be realised. The valves are produced in Germany utilising the most modern production technologies with a high degree of vertical integration and validated processes. The valves made of high-performance plastics and offer the highest quality and reliability.

Presented for the first time at this year’s COMPAMED are the new 2/2- and 3/2-way lever valves. The series 47.00x.202/203 incorporates push fit connectors and can be used with media temperatures up to 98°C. Available with nominal orifices of DN 2, 3 or 4mm and equipped with 4 or 6 mm push fit connectors, the media-resistant valves are ideally suited for easy integration into fluid applications and quick and easy servicing. Furthermore, the valves offer a high flexibility in terms of mounting position and flow direction. This makes our media separated lever valves suitable for a wide range of applications.

Also, especially of interest to medical technology and Life Sciences is A. u. K. Müller’s 19.00x.287 miniature valve series. The energy saving 2/2 way cartridge block valve has a compact design, with a width of only 15 mm and is ideal for applications where space is at a premium and where parallel media handling is required. Also, this valve can be utilized in mobile devices and as a metering or sampling valve. Available in both mono stable or latching versions, the low power consumption of which allows battery operation maintaining a safe valve function, fast response times and high long-term durability.
