“Influences in level measuring of solids” - hands-on seminaries in Brazil

Novelty of innovative sensors and quality of established technology

Sales Partner Libracom from Brazil together with UWT organized two exciting seminars for plant operators and machine manufacturers in Porto Alegre und Campinas (São Paulo). On 13th and 15th September the participants from various industry sectors got exciting insights regarding “Influences in measuring level of solids”.

At the event it has been demonstrated the reliable technology from UWT Level Control, for content measurement with lot and radar sensor as well as for point level measurement. Here the sensors work with different measuring principles of the rotary, vibrating, capacitive and conductive principle. For their different process applications the attendees were especially interested in the latest UWT level switches of the non-contact radar sensor NivoRadar® and the new vibrating rod Mononivo®. The key issue was about how the equipment functions, the user-friendly calibration as well as the technical opportunities of the innovative probes that could also be tried under different application conditions. The feedback from Brazil was very positive: “With the various sensor models it was a very exciting training and a great opportunity to get hands-on with the technology.”

Additionally the event also included the presentation of Libracom about their knowledge and experiences concerning “Control and management of industrial processes” and the Rockwell lecture about “Connected Enterprise“ with regard to Industry 4.0.

In Porto Alegre, where Libracom Automação Industrial is located the participants had the opportunity to visit the company and its production facilities.

The seminars in Brazil were very useful for non-customers to be aware that UWT can offer various solutions for content and level limit detection as well as for customers to confirm the quality of UWT products. Brazil has lots of fast growing industry sectors that are very interesting for the business of level measurement technology. The participation in several future projects is already planned and we expect a very good forecast for the development of the Brazilian market.
