1000W, Convection Cooled, Railway Quality DC/DC Converter
The BHR 65X2R-4U2NF series of railway quality DC/DC converters deliver up to 1kW. This high reliability, long-life series is designed for an operating life of a minimum of 20 years in railway environments.
The converters operate from DC-inputs of 72Vdc, 96Vdc, or 110Vdc, with wide EN5015 input ranges. They deliver a single output of 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 110Vdc or 125Vdc or custom. A +/- dual output configuration is also possible. Typical efficiency is 80-90% at full load.
The BHR 65X2R-4U2NF converters meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock. The units have heavy filtering on the input and output and comply with EN50121-3-2 and EN55022 Class A with margins; Class B is available on request.
Natural air convection provides sufficient cooling for operation over -25ºC to 55ºC temperature range for full specification. Wider temperature ranges are available on request.
