4U rackmount computer designed to provide better organization for industrial environments and business applications. The RMC8414A is an industrial 19-inch rackmount computer powered by the latest Intel processors and standard 12 x 9.6-inch ATX motherboard with six PCI/PCIe expansion slots and five drive bays in a 4U high 20.1-depth rack chassis. The front panel includes a power ON/OFF button, a system reset button, and two front USB ports. To protect the interior drives, the RMC8414A provides excellent security with a steel and shatter-resistant glass door with a front keylock. The rackmount computer is constructed from heavy-duty cold-rolled electroplated steel. Cold-rolled steel is exceptionally suitable for industrial applications because the material presents a less flexible but more solid and powerful finish for the system. Industrial environments can be harsh on the rackmount system with the presence of dust and other particles, which can ultimately affect the performance and productiveness of a system. To prevent dust from entering the system, the RMC8414A is designed with an air filter in front of the computer. The air filter can be completely removable and it can also be washed. For proper cooling, the standard 19-inch rackmount provides one 120mm ball-bearing fan. Ball-bearing fans compared to sleeve bearing fans are more suitable and efficient for industrial applications. It features a longer operational life, more heat tolerance, flexibility for mounting in any direction, and runs quieter. Ball-bearing fans are suitable for fast pace applications and hotter applications, such as industrial factories and data centers. The RMC8414A uses a standard industrial-grade ATX motherboard or a long-life industrial ATX motherboard to handle data processing and I/O handling tasks. The rackmount system includes a standard 12 x 9.6-inch ATX motherboard. The ATX board gives room for multiple ports and expansion slots, front USB ports, Gigabit LAN ports, DVI, DisplayPort, VGA, and HDMI ports. The RMC8414A features a cardholder to secure and prevent the interior cards and boards from moving around. The drive cage provides three 5.25” open, 1 x 3.5” open, and 1 x 3.5” hidden drive bays for storage devices such as SATA hard drives, SSD, and optical drives. The power supply supports a 380 ATX power supply with the option for a 500W or 650W ATX power supply. Designed for many different applications, the RMC8104A is fully customizable and offers a wide selection of options for additional storage space, removable drive bays, optical drives, add-on cards, graphic cards, and Windows operating systems.
