Explosion proof alarm horn sounder, flashing lights, and alarm horn sounder and led beacons are tested and are resistants to negative temperatures : - – 50 °C for sounders, -40°C for flashing lights and -25°C for alarm horn sounder and led beacons.

Very famous : the flameproof BExS110 alarm sounders are suitable for Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22 applications with sound level outputs of up to 117dB(A) at 1 metre with a choice of 32 alarm tones and 3 remotely selectable stages. The BEx range features enclosures manufactured from corrosion proof, marine grade copper free LM6 aluminium with chromate and powder coat finish.

Another well-known flashing lights : the PBV22005, IP 66, compact and extremely bright and highly visible flashing strobe light for signalling in large manufacturing areas and warehouses as well as outdoor spaces. These models achieve IK08 impact rating to endure harsh environments. They are suitable for use in all weather conditions due to the provided protection against driving rain, snow, ice, and dust.

Another example, the TL112H features the 119dB(A) T112 alarm horn sounder combined with the L101H high output L.E.D. beacon with an ingress protection IP66 for all non specific uses like : fire alarm (NFS32001 tone included), safety and process needs. The manufacturing guarantees robustness with stainless steel fixings and ABS material for the housing.
