Digital precision impeller anemometer for low air flows

The new impeller type Makro FVAD 15-H offers high measuring accuracy and can be used for many measuring tasks, such as checking air movements in clean rooms and for control measurements at fume hoods of workbenches and workstations.

The anemometer has also proven its worth in measurements on ventilation, air conditioning and filter systems or for measuring laminar flow and network measurements on large inlets and outlets. For measurements in automotive engineering during investigations in the wind tunnel and in the vehicle interior, the sensor guarantees precise measurement.

The robust design of the Makro FVAD 15-H impeller anemometer provides optimum protection for the bearing of the sensitive impeller in the measuring basket. Two versions are available, as type MK5 with a measuring range of 0.15 - 5 m/s and as type MK20 with a measuring range of 0.25 - 20 m/s. Measurements can be made with a maximum resolution of 0.01 m/s at ambient temperatures from -20 to +125 °C in air and clean gases. The impellers are supplied with 2 m cable and digital ALMEMO® D6 connector for connection to ALMEMO® data loggers and measuring instruments. For high air flows up to 90 m/s and ambient temperatures up to +600°C, AHLBORN offers pitot tubes and differential pressure sensors. Digital thermoanemometers are available for measuring particularly low air flows. DAkkS calibration according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 is possible in the in-house laboratory for flow velocities from 0.1 m/s.
