Premixed cylinders are convenient but fixed. With Alicat mass flow controllers you can blend on site: one controller per gas, coordinated from one PC, holding the ratio in real time, for example a 60/40 argon and CO2 shielding gas. Gas Select switches between 98 to 130 preloaded gases without recalibration, and COMPOSER stores up to 20 blends of up to five gases at 0.1% resolution. FlowVision MX software sets the ratios for up to ten controllers, logs the data and runs sequences, while batching and totalizers deliver exact volumes.
