Dewpoint Transmitter AMT-Ex for Hazardous Areas
4-20mA Intrinsically Safe, ATEX and IECEx Certified
The AMT-Ex Dewpoint Transmitter is intrinsically safe and has been designed specifically for continuous accurate measurement of moisture content in process gases in hazardous areas. The AMT-Ex dewpoint transmitter can be factory configured to output a linear 4-20 mA signal for any other moisture units for example ppm(v), ppm(w), g/m3 and lb/MMSCF. Sensor ranges are available between -110°C to +20°C (-166°F to +68°F) dewpoint.
Typically, the AMT-Ex dewpoint transmitter is used in conjunction with the Alpha Moisture Systems’ DS4000 display unit (as seen here) giving the user a powerful dewpoint hygrometer system in an online system for reliable continuous measurements.
The AMT-Ex transmitter also incorporates an Automatic Calibration (AUTOCAL) function, which allows the user to carry out a field calibration/span check of the instrument.
