High-performance labeling machine for beer cans
ALline C applies labels at a cruising speed of 180 cans per minute
The craft beer sector is booming, and ALtech is happy to be part of it. This ALline C labelling machine has been recently installed at a well-known brewer in the UK. It applies labels at a cruising speed of 180 cans per minute, i.e. 10,000 per hour excluding roll changes. The machine is equipped with a sensor for the intelligent management of the incoming product flow. It controls a product spacer with timing screw – a key element for reliably achieving high speeds.
The system is equipped with an ALritma X ultra-high-performance labelling head. With a 400 mm unwind unit combined with an enlarged silicon paper rewind system, it nearly doubles the working time between media changeovers compared with a standard labeller, thus minimising downtime.
The control PLC, combined with a 7″ touch screen display, manages all labelling parameters, and can store up to 100 labelling formats. The devices are adjustable by means of screws and handwheels. They are equipped with digital revolution counters, whose values can in turn be stored in the labelling format for quick, easy format changes.
ALTECH specialises in the manufacturing of in-line labelling machines for food and beverages. It offers a wide range of solutions – from semi-automatic systems for off-line low production systems to high-speed machines. They can be supplied in a non-stop configuration, i.e. with double labelling heads that automatically switch on when labels are used up, without any stops for roll changes.
