The Challenges We Faced in Conveyor Belt Design

In the food industry, efficient handling and transport of products is essential to ensure quality, freshness and timely delivery. Our last project was for a customer in the fresh pasta sector, that has allowed us experience in designing customised conveyor lines.

The main objective of the project was to design a transport line that could effectively meet three specific requirements:

Conveying and sorting speed: it was essential that the conveyor belt could handle a rapid flow of ravioli packs, sorting them automatically onto different packaging machines. This required precise speed management and a continuous flow over the different packaging lines.
