Nitration Reaction in Amar-3 Reactor
Amar Equipment Pvt. Ltd.
This reactor has small conical sections. Immiscible two phase reagents converge and diverge repeatedly throughout the flow path. Reactor has two inlets, one sampling point and one outlet. For nitration reaction, two pumps have to be used for two reagents. NRV’s can be used at the inlet lines to avoid backpressure. Depending on the residence time of the reaction the flow rates of the two reagents can be set and a residence time coil can also be used at the outlet. Reaction temperature can be maintained by circulating the thermic fluid through the inlet and outlet of the reactor jacket.
Reactor Specifications:
• Reactor volume: 12, 30 ml (up to 1000 ml, customizable)
