Last week, amixon® participated in Powtech 2025 in Nuremberg, one of the leading trade fairs for powder, granulate, and bulk solids technology. Under the new motto “Powders meet Precision”, amixon® presented its latest innovations and five outstanding powder mixers, setting new standards in quality, efficiency, and flexibility.
The displayed mixing systems enable perfect blending even of the most challenging products – gently, quickly, and energy-efficiently. With their high precision and adaptability, they help companies ensure optimal product quality, optimize production processes, and save valuable resources.

Expert Knowledge Live: Lecture by Markus Mettenborg
A special highlight at Powtech was the lecture by Mr. Markus Mettenborg, an expert from amixon®. Titled “Ideal Mixing Qualities in Two Completely Opposite Precision Mixers”, he explained the fundamentals and challenges of powder mixing and presented practical solutions for various industrial applications.
The lecture focused on the complex effects of powder mixing – from wetting and agglomeration to deagglomeration, drying, or shear crystallization. Mr. Mettenborg demonstrated how amixon® mixers can specifically influence these processes to ensure optimal powder quality for different applications.
Two innovative amixon® mixing systems were highlighted:
