AMOB has a new customer in the world’s largest livestock equipment manufacturer in the world! The order of a CH-80-CNC mandrel pipe bender was successfully delivered and commissioned at the customer’s site, in Romania, in September – and though the tube bending requirement was straightforward, the intended operating conditions meant that a considered solution was needed.

The sub-zero temperatures of the client’s premises meant that an oil heating system needed to be integrated within the machine – alongside the standard oil cooling system. This, in the 80mm capacity, fully-CNC tube bender, means that the machine will start up trouble-free in the winter months – when temperatures can drop to below minus 38 degrees celsius.

The customer processes around 24 tons of tube per week, with the vast majority now passing through the new 80mm x 3.5mm capacity machine. In this instance, the tube bender manipulates three different sizes – 25.4mm, 33.7mm and 60.3mm OD – to enable them to make a variety of equipment for distribution worldwide. With over 500 different products, each one can be stored in the machine and loaded quickly and easily when required.
