1. Data transmission

Collect machine data via accelerometers and tachometers installed in machine surface, transmit data to online monitoring station for data processing, then send data from wind turbine to workstation server via optical fiber and wind farm ring network;

2. Alarm reminding

Intelligent alarm selects abnormal data precisely and sends reminding via short messages, emails or APP

3. Process

1)Alarm verification by remote diagnosis staff: true;

2)Data analysis by remote diagnosis staff: start from degradation, after incubation period, now enter into quick degradation;

3)Submitting conclusion by remote diagnosis staff: large spalling on generator bearing inner race, bearing inner race deformation, raceway crooking to one side, outer race slight pitting;

4)On-site staff receives the diagnosis conclusion. According to diagnosis suggestion and on-site situation, trigger for work flow: shut down for maintenance or down the load, supervise machine operation if stop is not allowed.

Wind farm: prepare for changing generator rear end bearing, it is suggested to be done within one month.

Remote diagnosis staff: keep an eye on vibration degradation trend and severity of fault parts, pay attention on feature change and operation temperature change.
