Wireless vibration and temperature monitoring

Data transmission

Collect fans, pumps and other constant speed machines operation vibration and temperature signal via wireless sensors installed on machine surface, data process is done in wireless sensor, then send data to on-site wireless data collector via Zigbee. Wireless data collector sends data to workstation server via enterprise ring network or wireless method (WIFI, 3G, 4G)

Collect rolling mills, recoilers and other variable machines vibration, temperature and speed data via accelerometers and tachometers installed on machine surface, transmit data to online monitoring station for data processing, then send data from wind turbine to workstation server via optical fiber and wind farm ring network.

Alarm reminding

Intelligent alarm selects abnormal data precisely and sends reminding via short messages, emails or APP

Process

1) Alarm verification by remote diagnosis staff: true;

2)Data analysis by remote diagnosis staff: velocity trend shows high vibration level in fan horizontal direction, working speed frequency occupies in velocity signal, showing machine unbalance and bad foundation. Kurtosis trend of acceleration shows there is rub impact;

3) Submitting conclusion by remote diagnosis staff: bolt looseness, crack, and other defects exist in machine trapezoidal steel structure. After several times of big vibration and rub, there is accident potential due to impeller crack.When vibration increases again, and rub exists, check rotor and shell dust in time, meanwhile check lock nuts looseness;

4) On-site staff receives the diagnosis conclusion. According to diagnosis suggestion and on-site situation, trigger for work flow.

Solution and suggestion

On-site: Show down the machine for overhaul, check if there is bolt looseness, crack and other defects in machine trapezoidal steel structure. Clean the dust of rotor impeller when it is allowed.

Remote diagnosis center:track overhaul result, verify the result via machine start up data.
