How To Choose Honing Brush
To choose a honing brush, there are mainly two step_ 1, to choose the size. 2, to choose the grit size
Choose the size
Honing brush is flexible and with many size for different bore sizes. Anhui union brush can offer diameter from 6mm to 1000mm. honing brush will compress by up to 10% to suit a minimum bore size of 90% of its nominal diameter. When choosing a honing brush, it should 10% larger than your bore diameter.
Choose the grit size
The grit size you need depends on some factors. Such as your prodcut material which need to be honed, engine ring or seal, lubricant grade. After knowing these, then you can choose the grit size.
