For more than 40 years Apollo Srl has been producing machines for punching pipes without any deformation. It is a leader in terms of quality for the construction of automatic pipe punching machines. Our legendary TWIN is well known to most operators working in the pipe sector. For years now TWIN has also been produced with a pipe automatic loading and unloading warehouse. To be more precise, the pipes to be drilled are loaded in a bundle in the bar warehouse, where they are separated, aligned, timed, and loaded on the punching line through a modern double gripper mechanical hand, which loads the pipe to be punched while unloading the punched pipe in a specific basket or through a punched pipe bundling device.An important and innovative solution has been developed for the changeover. Shifting from a pipe to another has become very rapid thanks to tools and accessories changeover systems, through fittings or by limiting the number of screws to the indispensable minimum, while maintaining the sturdiness and the accuracy of the components unchanged. Let’s talk about “CLASSIC TWIN” now, the fastest and most reliable machine available; it can punch 4 slots at a time on two sides of a pipe simultaneously over a length of 3 meters.

It performs up to 60 threads in less than one minute, with an accuracy of more or less 0.2 mm from the first to the last hole.

Our range of accessories includes: expansion cores with grindable interlocked matrixes, punches with centering pilot, amco pipe guides which ensure a high speed pipe sliding and prevent seizure (up to 1,000 mm per second) etc….

Among more than 200 TWIN delivered in different countries in the world, some of them have been fitted for punching two pipes at a time automatically, thus actually doubling productivity.

The punching lines include “SIMPLIFIED TWIN”. It is a hydraulic punching line equipped with two opposed horizontal heads and a bar feeder which can be supplied in different lengths with a maximum stroke of 9,000 mm. Simplified Twin ensures a good productivity and performs blind and through holes on one or two tubular at a time. The same punching programs can be carried out for both punches. For a couple of years now Apollo has been experiencing a period of renewal.
