ASCO makes noise level reduction the standard for dry ice pelletizers

ASCO Carbon Dioxide Ltd. is continuously committed to maintain occupational safety at the highest level – including in the area of measurable reduction of noise emissions. To ensure an optimal working environment the specially designed insulations and housings are used from now on as standard for the «ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizer P75i» and «Dry Ice Machines BP420i & BP425i».

Low noise emissions play a crucial role in the context of occupational safety. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), sustained exposure to noise can lead to hearing damage and increase the risk of workplace accidents. Dry ice producers who prioritize a quiet working environment not only contribute to protecting employee health but also enhance concentration and productivity. Therefore, the reduction of noise emissions is an essential component of a comprehensive workplace safety strategy, which is often underestimated.

To counteract this, ASCO Carbon Dioxide Ltd. has made the best possible noise reduction their new standard. This applies initially to the models «Dry Ice Pelletizer P75i» (750 kg/h, dry ice pellets in different sizes) as well as the «Dry Ice Machines BP420i and BP425i» (240 – 400 kg/h, automatic switch between block or pellets possible). They will now be delivered as standard with a low noise level of <79 dB(A). This is approximately equivalent to the noise of a vacuum cleaner at a normal distance.
