Why turn 4 meters of steel when you can do it without?
Find out more about the practical application of the A330
A steel sheet (4000 × 500 × 14 mm) is precisely machined to customer specifications using the A330 Bevelling Machine: a chamfer on the long side measuring 14 mm × 30°, on the opposite side measuring 5 mm × 30° on the top edge and 8 mm × 30° on the bottom edge.
The key point: in addition to the different chamfer widths, the top and bottom edges are machined without turning the 4-metre sheet metal. This is precisely where the advantage of our A330 lies: it saves you time-consuming turning and the clean, dimensionally accurate chamfer can be further processed directly without reworking.
Further professional advantages:
- Stepless automatic feed control
- Precise chamfer over the entire length of the workpiece
- Uniform results even on challenging surfaces
Many thanks to our colleague for the recording and to DEHOUST GmbH Werk Nienburg for the opportunity to demonstrate the application of our A330 in a real production environment.
Our colleagues in the office and in the field are available to answer any questions you may have about the A330 – or take a look at our website for an overview of the technical information and details.
