We have manufactured and successfully delivered two customised magnetic lifting beams for one of our Spanish customers – precisely tailored to the requirements for the efficient handling of large-format steel sheets.

Now in use:
- EPM Magnetic Lifting Beam FB2-37T12: For sheets up to 12,000 × 3,500 mm and thicknesses from 50 mm – equipped with two EPMH high-performance electro-permanent magnets, each with a lifting capacity of 25 t, including radio remote control, signal lights and an audible warning signal for safe crane operation.

- EPM Telescopic Magnetic Lifting Beam TB8-25T25-R2: For sheets up to 25,000 × 3,000 mm and weighing up to 25 t. Thanks to the integrated telescopic function, sheet lengths between 5 and 25 metres can now be handled flexibly using a single lifting solution.

Three factors were particularly crucial for this project: large dimensions, heavy loads and maximum flexibility with different sheet metal formats. To meet these requirements, we have developed two magnetic lifting beams that are precisely tailored to our customer’s process. The result is safe operations, greater flexibility in material flow and more efficient handling of large sheets of metal.
