The explosion proof iPhone 6(s) models are originally manufactured by Apple than converted and certified according to the European explosion proof ATEX directives by Atexxo Manufacturing B.V. This makes the phones suited for safe use in gas /vapor zone 2 hazardous locations.

Compliance with ATEX / EX regulations is achieved by both redesign of the electronic circuit as well as modification of the casing. The Intrinsically safe circuit make the phones suitable for safe use in hazardous locations, while maintaining nearly all features of the original product.

Atexxo Manufacturing B.V. from the Netherlands has developed a complete new range of explosion proof atex certified AC units. The ATEX (multi) split systems are suitable for use at 3G Zone 2 Gas/Vapor hazardous locations. Available in a cooling/heating capacity ranging from 6.800 - 61.000 BTU/hr (2-18kW).
