Raise the standard of every pour: Advanced wine filtration solutions by Atlas Copco

Discover how Atlas Copco’s smart, sustainable filtration systems help winemakers preserve flavor, enhance clarity, and boost efficiency - every step from fermentation to bottling.

Winemaking is a craft where details make all the difference. When it comes to wine making, every detail matters – from clarity to flavour to how well your wine holds over time.

At Atlas Copco, we work with wineries to protect what makes each bottle special. Our filtration systems are designed to keep things pure, from the start of fermentation right up to bottling.

As wine moves through its stages—fermentation, aging, stabilization, bottling—it picks up particles you don’t want sticking around. Yeast, bacteria, and other unwanted stuff can dull the taste and appearance. That’s where good filtration comes in.
We’ve created systems that help you keep the subtle things intact: aroma, color, flavor. You shouldn’t have to trade those for shelf life or stability.

Why filtration matters in winemaking?
Filtration isn’t just about a polished appearance - it’s about giving your customers a consistently clean and stable wine. By using filtration techniques such as depth, crossflow, and membrane filtration, you can remove contaminants while still maintaining the wine’s core identity.

These techniques help maintain stability in the bottle, extend shelf life, and ensure your product tastes just as intended.

Better wine, smarted process
Wineries today face increasing pressure to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and operate more sustainably. Our high-performance filtration systems are designed with that in mind.

By using Atlas Copco filtration, you can:
• Reduce wine loss during processing
• Avoid unwanted color shifts or oxygen exposure
• Minimize the need for additives
• Cut back on energy usage
• Improve consistency and product quality

Filtration solutions for every stage:
Final Stabilization: Use SME and BME pleated membrane filter cartridges during this stage.

Pre-stabilization: We recommend pleated fiber filters such as PFP, PFP-A, and PFG.

Tartaric Removal: Ideal filers here include pleated fiber PFP-D and PFP-B, along with melt blown PBP and PBP-A.

For filtration of secondary fluids, these products can help you achieve quality output -

For gas filtration: Try pleated fiber PFG-G, PFP-G, SFG-G or the pleated membrane SMT-G.

For liquid filtration: Use activated carbon filters (ASC, ARC), melt blown filters (PBP, PBP-L),or pleated fiber filters like our PFP, PFP-L and PFG.
For vapor filtration: Go with our stainless steel cartridges MSS and MPSC.
