Wireless, low cost, plug and play data collection

Production process data is a true business asset that is often underestimated.

Data collection systems are essential for analyzing in detail the operation of the production system and obtaining the most effective indicators for improving the overall efficiency of production.

Sometimes it would only take a few signals related to operator commands or machine operating states, and interconnection according to Industry 4.0 requirements may be too expensive.

For all these cases, the ideal solution is WD+AirGriDaCo: a wireless, low-cost, simple and quick-to-install system based on standard technology, widely configurable and customizable.

AirGriDaCo is Automa's software that supports the distribution, exclusively for Italy, of PATLITE's WD wireless products, an innovative system capable of transforming a simple light tower into a source, low cost, of useful data for measuring the efficiency of machines and plants. The WD-PRO version manages, in addition to the signals from the light tower, 8 other digital inputs and an RS232 serial line to which to connect, for example, a barcode reader.

With AirGriDaCo , it is easy to set up Andon information panels to support production processes.

AirGriDaCo installs easily and is very simple to configure.

It allows each tower, each light, each state of each light to be named. This makes the event history self explaining. The history can be published directly to a corporate Database or exported to Excel-compatible CSV files.

AirGriDaCo is available in different sizes and can be the starting point for customized versions that Automa can build according to specific customer requirements. An SDK is also available for development.
