ATEX speed sensors in d.c. with integrated control

These sensors enable the control with high precision either the rotation speed of a

toothed wheel or the time interval between objects passing in front of the sensing area. The sensor will turn off the load or give an alarm in case the actual speed falls below the minimum threshold. Thanks to the extremely wide measuring range (from 1msec to 2 minutes) they can be even used to control repetitive operations, signalling in case of unwanted stops. Also the start-up delay is implemented and the value can be set directly on the application with a self-teaching function. Further delays or other special functions may be implemented upon specific request.

The output is protected against wrong connection, overvoltages on line, and short circuit

of the load. Thanks to the special plastic materials used, these sensors can be used in zone 2(cat.3G) or 22 (cat. 3D) without additional antistatic protections. The connection is with a 4-wire M12x1 connector (series C8B/... or C10/...) which must be ordered separately.
