Working Principle of Double-Decker Extra-Long Ferry Transfer Car
Customized Transfer Cart
The working principle of the extra-long ferry transfer cart mainly depends on the coordinated work of the rail change of the mold platform and the hydraulic top cylinder. The entire working process is completed by computer automatic control, involving two main steps: rail change and the action of the ferry transfer cart.
rail change process: The rail change is completed by two independent and synchronous pulleys, and the entire working process is automatically controlled by PLC. By pressing the buttons of the start rail and the target rail, the computer will instruct the pulley to go to the bottom of the rail and control the ferry transfer cart to stop at a fixed point through the proximity sensor.
The two pulleys are synchronized through the installed synchronous encoder to ensure the stability and safety of the transport platform during the rail change process.
Action of the ferry transfer cart: After the ferry transfer cart stops, the four hydraulic top cylinders will automatically rise synchronously, lift the mold platform to a certain height, and make the mold platform disengage from the rail wheel to prepare for rail change.
The shuttle bus's travel system instructs the two pulleys to move synchronously according to the output signal of the encoder through the PLC computer. Before reaching the target rail, the shuttle bus sensor first receives the deceleration signal, and then successively senses the positioning signal, causing the shuttle bus to slow down and finally stop at a fixed point.
After stopping, the hydraulic top cylinder will automatically unload the mold table onto the rail, completing the entire rail change and shuttle bus action. This series of operations ensures that the extra-long shuttle bus can be safely and efficiently transferred between different rails, supporting industrial production or logistics needs in specific scenarios
