When using large cylinders, the filling time at zero (or near zero) pressure can be crucial in terms of performance. If quick approaches are desired to optimize the run times, it is preferable to choose for the air-hydraulic pumps of the UPD Series with double air-motor (low/high pressure), which, compared to the single air-motors pumps of the UP Series, deliver much higher flow rates (l/min) throughout the whole cylinder filling time until the working pressure (at which the cylinder starts to work) is reached. The commutation from the high-flow/low-pressure motor to the low-flow/high-pressure motor is automatic.
