Trigger scheme of Roller shutte switch lidar

In automated workshops, the shutter doors are often used for isolation between adjacent workshops.

Usually it is normally closed. When someone passes, it is opened, and the person walks to close the door. Since most of the traffic is forklift trucks or pushers, if you want to get off the car and press the door opening button at the wall, it will cause a lot of inconvenience, so you need an automatic door opening plan without stopping.

Install a single-point LiDAR TF-Luna, TFmini Plus or TF02-Pro above the roller shutter door to detect the designated area diagonally downward. Different installation height / angle can choose products with different ranges.

Application Principle：Make a mark on the ground (infrared camera can be used to observe the position of the LiDAR light-spot). Whenever the vehicle arrives at the marked point, the radar detection distance becomes smaller, and triggers the rolling door to open it automatically. After the vehicle leaves the marked point, the LiDAR measurement distance becomes larger, triggering the shutter door to close.
