NEW: layer depalletizer by Böckelt

Repacking metal sheets from wooden pallets into Böckelt system cassettes requires the use of a depalletiser.

This fixture can be stowed in the Böckelt Tower just like any cassette.

Setup is plain and simple.

The included punches can be stored in the designated trays inside the depalletiser.

An empty cassette is placed on the depalletiser before the punches, which are supposed to carry the metal sheets later on, are inserted through the gaps in the cassette.

Next, a wooden pallet carrying new material is positioned on these punches. The caught metal sheets are raised using a forklift or an overhead crane before the pallet is removed by hand.

The metal sheet package is now punched out and ready to be stored in the Böckelt Tower.

Using an overhead crane to divide a factory package across 2 cassettes does not pose a problem, either. Simply split the metal sheet package in two at the desired position using a spearhead. If handled properly, the metal sheets will not sustain any damage during this process.

The upper portion of the package is raised and set down on the punches of the depalletiser.

The cassette located underneath can now be raised and stored in the Böckelt Tower.
