Marpet-g FS now available in 0.8mm, 1mm +1.5mm

Brett Martin has added three thin gauge options to its Marpet-g FS PETg range: 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.5mm. The clear and tough sheet that offers excellent thermoforming properties, is now available in thicknesses from 0.8mm up to 15mm.

Compared to traditional transparent materials, PETg continues to maintain its toughness for lower sheet thicknesses, making it a more cost-effective product for designers and fabricators. The thinner gauge Marpet-g FS range is easy to fabricate and is the perfect choice for thermoforming applications and fabrication projects that require outstanding optical clarity and light transmission. Typical applications include a wide range of sign & display applications, point of sale equipment, signage, illuminated advertising signs, displays and graphic arts.

Key benefits of Marpet-g FS are the exceptional ease of workability and thermoformability it offers, particularly at low temperatures. PETg is an amorphous polyester that does not crystallize when heated, preventing the sheet to whiten or crack. The sheet does not absorb moisture and does not require pre-drying, reducing processing time which will help thermoforming manufacturers to save both time and money.

Marpet-g FS is available in a variety of thicknesses including 0.8mm, 1mm, 1.5mm 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm in 1250mm x 2500mm or 2050mm x 3050mm sheet dimensions.
