BROCKHAUS develops automatic measuring systems for quality control of electrical steel material

In order to fulfil market requirements and to assure high product performance the quality must be controlled by measuring the magnetic properties of the material produced. Especially the total power loss and peak induction characterise and classify the material.

For time and cost saving quality control BROCKHAUS developed a full automatic measuring system “Auto-SST” for testing of sheets according to IEC 60404-3.

The sample will be taken from a magazine (200pcs. capacity) by pneumatic lifter and after bar code identification and weighting forwarded to the measuring sensor where power loss and peak induction will be measured. At the end of measuring process the sample will be stored in an output magazine. All operations are software controlled and data can be processed. The system can be driven in 3-shift operation.
