Mark Furtwängler, new Vice President Industrial & Healthcare Solutions at Bühler Motor

Nuremberg, July 10, 2014 – With effect from July 1, Mark Furtwängler is assuming responsibility for the Industrial & Healthcare Solutions division at Bühler Motor as the new Vice President. With his arrival, the owning family is underscoring its commitment to the company and its employees, customers and suppliers.

After studying Engineering Management at Darmstadt Technical University, Mark Furtwängler started his career in 2006 with the BMW Group. In the past eight years, he has worked in both product project controlling and development. Most recently, he was Group Leader for Product Development of Information and Communication Systems.

Peter Muhr, President and CEO of Bühler Motor GmbH, welcomed the arrival of Mark Furtwängler: "We can make very good use of the specialist and management experience he gained from his time with BMW. I am looking forward to working with him."

Bühler Motor has been owned by the Furtwängler family without interruption since 1892. Throughout this time, members of the family have been directly responsible for the success of the company, as managers, directors or on the Advisory Board.
