Jiwei Fork Liquid Level Switches Highly Favored in Shipbuilding Industry

Jiwei Fork Liquid Level Switches have been favored by many Chinese shipyards for its reliable quality and stable performance comparable to imported level meters, and widely applied to the water level control in ship cabins, especially in the bilge.

According to the latest data,China's Shipbuilding Industry maintains a world-leading level across three major indicators in the first three quarters of 2023. By keeping up the trend, the demand for liquid level meters and alarm devices in the shipbuilding industry have been increasing multiply. Since 2021, Jiwei Fork Liquid Level Switches have been favored by many Chinese shipyards for its reliable quality and stable performance comparable to imported level meters, and widely applied to the water level control in ship cabins, especially in the bilge.

Ring-11 Fork Liquid Level Switch is a highly reliable instrument for liquid level detection and control. The fork length is only 40mm, the harmonic resonant frequency has been precisely pre-adjusted to achieve high sensitivity, which enables the sensor to detect fluids with density as low as 0.5g/cm³. There are 4 optional outputs available: relay, two-wire, NAMUR and transistor. Besides, Ring-11 has qualified with SIL2 / SIL3 Certificates, as well as certified for both Intrinsic Safety and Flameproof Enclosure explosion protection. With strong anti-interference function, not influenced by foam, bubbles, viscosity, oscillation and other liquid characteristics, Ring-11 is applicable not only for vessels, process tanks and storage tanks, but also particularly for pipelines or other applications with constricted space.

To better meet the special requirements of various complex conditions for liquid level measurement in Shipbuilding Industry, Jiwei has applied for China Classification Society (CCS) certification, and the second application procedure (formal design recognition) is in progress so far.
